What began as a personal passion project involved creating unique garden furniture. It also included rustic outdoor spaces for our home. This quickly sparked interest from friends, family, and neighbours. Their encouragement — and their requests — turned that hobby into something bigger. That’s how Knotty But Nice was born.

From handmade garden furniture to custom-designed verandas and decking, and engaging outdoor play spaces we craft everything with care. We have a deep respect for the materials. We mainly use slow-grown, high-grade Scandinavian redwood. It is selected for its characterful grain and knotted finish. This perfectly suits our tactile, frontier-inspired style. Every piece is hand-finished, ensuring the quality and individuality you deserve.
